Image uploading not working

Modified on Wed, 11 Jun at 1:28 PM

f you're experiencing issues uploading images to Plasfy, here's a detailed guide to help you troubleshoot and fix the problem. 99% of upload errors are resolved by following the steps below.

✅ Supported File Types

Plasfy supports the following image formats:

  • .JPG / .JPEG

  • .PNG

  • .WEBP (limited browser compatibility)

  • .SVG (flat vector only; no embedded images or fonts)

Note: PDF, PSD, AI, or other non-image formats are not supported.

? File Size Limits

  • Max file size: 5MB

  • Max resolution: 5,000px (width or height)

Oversized images may silently fail to upload. Try compressing the file or resizing before uploading.

? Quick Fixes Checklist

Please follow all of the steps below before contacting support. Most issues are resolved here:

  1. Use a Desktop Browser

    • Plasfy is desktop-first. Mobile browsers are not supported for uploads.

    • Use Chrome or Firefox for best results.

  2. Try Incognito Mode

    • Browser extensions can block upload scripts.

    • Open your browser in Incognito / Private mode and try again.

  3. Disable Ad Blockers or Privacy Extensions

    • Extensions like uBlock, Ghostery, or even antivirus plugins can interfere.

    • Temporarily disable them and refresh the page.

  4. Check Your Internet Connection

    • Poor internet connection or firewall restrictions can block uploads.

    • Try switching to another network or disabling VPN/proxy settings.

  5. Clear Browser Cache

    • Go to your browser settings and clear cache/cookies for Plasfy.

    • Refresh and try uploading again.

  6. Use Images From Your Computer (Not Cloud Services)

    • Dragging from Google Docs, Canva, or ChatGPT previews may result in incompatible or corrupted image files.

    • Save the file directly to your computer, then upload from there.

  7. Rename Your File

    • Avoid filenames with spaces, emojis, or symbols.

    • Example: use lead-magnet-graphic.png instead of lead magnet ?.png

⚠️ Still Not Working?

If you’ve followed all the steps above and the upload still fails, please provide the following info when contacting support:

  1. The exact file you’re trying to upload

  2. A screenshot of the error message (if any)

  3. Your browser and version (e.g. Chrome 123.0)

  4. Link to your Plasfy project or template

  5. Confirmation that you tested the steps above (e.g., tried incognito, desktop, cleared cache)

This helps us resolve your issue faster without any back-and-forth.

? Pro Tip

If you regularly upload branded content, try converting large PNGs to JPGs using TinyJPG or Squoosh. This reduces size and improves upload speed without losing quality.
